When we got there it looked very busy however we got a table immediately. There was a little wait for drinks but we were in no hurry. The waitresses were all very friendly. The food was great with large portions, and the fries were delicious.
This restaurant is more of a 3.5 rating. Walking into the restaurant at a busy time, the staff at the front were friendly to everyone who was waiting to get seated. Ended up sitting at the bar and the bar tender was quick with service.
The cheese squares were the highlight of the meal. They were perfectly fried and the marinara sauce was a fantastic pairing! Would much prefer that over the ranch. After seeing another google review rave about the wraps and the photo looked amazing, I decided to get that with a side of fries. Unfortunately, the chicken was dry and flavorless. I did enjoy the sauce and wished there was more of that flavor with the chicken. The fries were all right as they came in a variety.
Overall, nothing too bad, just an average meal for me.
Really enjoyed this spot for lunch. Nice variety on the menu. They have a burger with a donut as the bun if you are into that sort of thing. I got a standard burger and it was cooked perfectly. The side salad was very nice with a good variety of greens. The fries with cheese and chili were decent. I liked that they include 3 different kinds of fries. Our server was very attentive and checked on us often. Overall a great experience!
Came for dinner with a friend. Staff were friendly and service was great. We had the cheese curds as an appetizer. They are amazing! I’ve been to The Crow once before and ordered the cheese curds as well. They definitely still impress after several years. What I wasn’t impressed with was the glazed donut burger. It is a little bit of a false advertisement. The burger looks like it is between two halves of a donut, but it was actually a burger bun that was glazed like a donut. You get a similar experience, but with less quality. The burger should be called something else if that’s how it is always served, or just get some real donuts. I didn’t particularly like the fries, but my friend did. But overall, this is a great restaurant. I remember really enjoying it the last time I came and I definitely plan to come back when I am in La Crosse again.
Must try the cheese curds! Happy hour is only $5 compared to regular price of $10. Delicious and great deal!
